EKU GRID: geometric patterns for facades
EKU GRID is a system of aluminium facade sun screens, for structural and visual lightening of the facade’s architectural impact. The grids, made of slanting slats of 30 or 80 mm, or 30 mm square, enable the creation of unusual aesthetic effects when alternated with panels of various materials (like Alucobond, glass etc.)

Today’s building envelopes require careful technical design, but without ignoring the aesthetic aspect. With this knowledge, the Technical Department of the Profilati Group developed EKU 50 GLASS for mullion and transom curtain walls.
Simplicity, versatility, performance and architectural elegance are the words that best describe this system. EKU 50 GLASS was conceived for maximum simplicity in creating various types of facade, with the help of specially conceived hardware. So not only vertical facades, but also sloping ones, roofs, cupolas, pyramids, tunnels and polygons. Every solution will be marked by great elegance, lightness and minimum visual clutter.
External coverings with various shapes (flat, arched etc.) give the facade a touch of personality.

The shutters from the new series EKU GREEN, with patented hardware, are ideal for new builds and renovations and are designed with 6 big advantages:

Clean, elegant lines blend perfectly with any kind of building. Their innovative design uses aluminium for structural profiles, as well as for supporting mechanisms and louvre orientation, thereby eliminating visible plastic elements typical of traditional louvre shutters.
